wiring kits ? 0 guage vs 0 gauge

gauge*

Why do I see different 0 gauge wiring kits rated differently, some at 1500,2500,3000

Is 0 gauge not 0 gauge? Maybe someone can be kind enough to explain this to me,

I hear some kits might not be truly 0 gauge, but yeah whats the deal with the different ratings

thanks!

If It does not say 0 AWG then it can be any size they want. Also, there is OFC copper, CCA copper clad aluminum, and aluminum wire and they are very different.

Essentially, if a kit seems too good of a price, it is probably BS wire.

there is eBay 0awg and there is proper 0awg... I received 0awg wire from said site that insulation OD was of the 0awg but actual wire inside was 4awg
