The Jl amp is the best amp out there guarenteed. This amp can push any sub out there the max. I hightly reccomend getting a Jl 1000.1 Rated Power: 1000 W RMS @ 1.5 ohm-4 ohm (11V-14.5V) THD at Rated Power: <0.05% @ 4 ohm S/N Ratio*: >95dB below rated power Frequency Response: 5 Hz-500 Hz (+0, -1dB) Damping Factor: >500 @ 4 ohm/50 Hz Input Range: switchable from 200mV-2V RMS to 800mV-8V RMS Dimensions: 19.7"L x 9.25"W x 2.36"H (500 mm x 235 mm x 60 mm) Features: Differential-Balanced Input Topology: (1 pair of inputs) On-board Crossover: fully-variable (40-200 Hz), selectable-slope LP (12 or 24 dB per octave) Preamp Output: 2-channel (independent active filter, parallel with amp filter or full-range) Bass EQ: parametric with variable boost up to 15dB and Remote Bass Control (optional) Infrasonic Filter: fully-variable 24dB/octave from 15-60 Hz Output Polarity Reversal: switch permits instant output polarity reversal Dual mono speaker output connections: accept up to 8ga. wire +12V and Ground connections: accept 4ga. wire (required) This Auction is not for the unit just for the deatiails on how to power the amp to its maximum force. How to connect it the correct way, to put out its maximum power, as well as just a picture not the actual unit (amp) it self. you win dont exspect the amp exspect the way to install this unit and get the best sound, which not to many people know how to do. lts deffinetly worth it.

Hidden at the end of the paragraph :

Granted people should read all the details before making a purchase, however I see this as an add clearly looking to decieve people into believing they are buying something else, namely a JL 1000/1 amp.

I mean really, the item is listed under : Car Amplifiers > Mono Car Amplifiers > JL Audio

The average person would expect to buy an amp from the "amplifier" section. I think the only reason Ebay lets these adds go is they still make money on the sale and every penny adds up. And please don't tell me "serves the buyer right" cause you'd be plenty P.O.'d if you were taken by this.

If there's any humour in this , its that the seller can't even spell. That alone should be a nice red flag....

guarenteed
deatiails
exspect
deffinetly

Yet half the people on this board continue to shop or recommend E-Bay....... go back to your trailer park idiots.....

5.00$ shipping charge is also pretty cheap...that should perhaps be a sign to look deeper into the product.

He is in New York, so I couldnt quite swing the road trip to beat the crap out of him.
Everyone on the east side...RISE UP AND TAKE ACTION!

That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Selling info on how to hook up an amp to make it sound its best, give me a break! And for $265 us that poor soul thought he was getting a great deal.

If you're dumb enough to bid on an item without reading the description, you deserve to be scammed. It clearly states what the auction is for. I'll admit that this sounds like a shady seller, if buyers were smart and read the auction, there would be no market for crap like this.

Before you buy anything you should always read the fine print, just like with shipping. You have to figure that a person is selling something on eBay in order to make some money, not lose it. Most things that are too good to be true... are.

you could figth this one. If you read the description it says it's:

Description (revised)

Item Specifics - Car Amplifiers
Brand: JL Audio RMS Wattage: 1000
Model: 1000.1 Condition: New
Channels: Mono (1 Channel)

So if he only sends a document then he didn't send what he claimed. If he was to cover his butt then he shoudl have stated in the description it was a document. Its states an amp....call ebay if your gloria, then the post office for mail fraud

Yes, beat him good!

Vanilla Gorilla 02-03-2005 09:20 PM

yeah, you gotta be careful. The funniest thing I've seen was an actual air guitar for sale. It was just a joke, but it still sold for a few bucks, shipping was extra.
