I am wondering would this amp work with my sub heres the specs for the amp and the Link for the Sub.

it has two 60amp maxi fuses in it, so total of 120 amp fuse.

Sure it'll work, but is it optimal? The speaker says it's good for 2000 watts nominal which is essentially rms, and that's at 4 ohms. That amp produces 2000 watts at 2 ohms, therefore around 1000 watts at 4ohms, so basically you'll give the speaker about half what it can handle. You won't get the full potential output of the speaker or any speaker for that matter at half power. You need an amp that delivers 2000 watts at 4ohms for each speaker. If you are using 4 of them, then the final parallel load will be 1ohm, so you can look for an amp that delivers 8000 watts at 1ohm rms and that will do nicely.

Am I reading this right?? You are using 4 X 6" subs now and you plan on adding 2 X 12" and 1 21" sub to the mix??.....:dunno:

By the time you get it set up you will regret buying some of it for sure.....too many speakers in the same general frequency range is a huge PITA to configure and tune.

OUt of all that I'd use the 2 12"s, ditch the 21" and use the 6"s as midbass drivers.......but that's just me......:smokin:

Also, an amp with 120Amps worth of fusing will be hard pressed to deliver 4KW, I hope you have budgeted for a new alt as well as those batteries......:ohwell:

I took it that the speaker (sub) in the link was the one he's using??? the 21"?

I have 6 batteries now.
I have a 240 amp Alt
I have everything planned just looking for a amp to power the 21 which is going in the back of a 8 foot box.
Everything is going to run fine and tuning will be easy with what I'm doing.
I won't regret anything out of this since most of the speakers were free or really cheap.

Just because you have everything does not mean that you have to use it. I agree that this is going to be one monster PITA to tune and properly set up. A 4KW amp on 120 amps of fusing, someone is lying about their specs.....

I'm not going to use this amp, I haven't even bought it. Just wanted to know if it would work or not. And from what I been hearing it won't.
