Which would you do?

I am either going to port my single maw 15 i have now (3cf net tuned to 32 hz with 31sq ft of port area) or buy another maw and do 2 sealed at 3.5cf net , only no separate chambers. :(. there is a brace though :).

Which would be your choice?

I want louder, but dont want to lack in sq. i would stuff the sealed box heavily to make up for the space.

which do you "think" would be louder out of the 2 setups under normal music use?

ive got my maw-15 in a 3cu/ft vented box at 33hz and it gets very loud and sounds clean doing it. i would go that route. i think it sounds awesome.
theres no need to add a second one. you can easily get far more output by just porting it.

Id have to run the response curves and whatnot in a program like winisd or bassbox (or at least have some experience with the sub) before I made any real decision........

but there is a really good chance Id go for the pair sealed.........

Agreed. Save yourself a few $$. Go ported before you take the plunge! ;)

Best,
Mark

you are everywhere mark. i am going to build the box anyways, just looking on opinions since its fairly inexpensive to buy another maw.:smilie_da so i might just buy one anyways to have in case.:smokin:
