iam over at chilliwack..... ya but the stores want nothing to due with us doing competiton systems nor do they help with any pricing or time for labor....... well we due get the regular staff discount but as you know all this stuff was on ebay for 1/2 of what future shop would have charged me and we dont carry any premier gear anyway...... sometimes i dont understand our company...... if we compete......... and are sucessful and motivated to go places and advertise the company............. dont you think that helping us out might be benefical to both parties.......... hum just a thought

Im thinking about picking a set of the prs comps up and i can get em for 350 from my buddy that works for pioneer.
I've heard they lack in the mid range area

go to diymobileaudio.com and check out the review on the 720 prs mids and tweets as well as the prs101, they are probably some of the best mids around at any price... and iam comparing them to hz, morel, focal, dynaudio, peerless, hybrid, ect... also go to zaph audio and see what he recommends for a mid bass driver..... if you are looking for one of the ultimate midbass units pick up the peerless, 830946 it plays flat down to 60hz but after 500hz its a nasty sounding driver

yeah iv read their reviews aswell as the guys on ca.com

Comparing them to hertz and morel right now but not quite sure which way to go for under 400

ok so we started today on getting those psr 720 mids in my kicks for a 1st order design.... here is the cutting.. the 2 bolts are the hinges for the door.. now seriously do we really need those!!! no really how important can they possibly be....

here are the finished kicks.... i put a 1/8th inch alum. ring on the front and bolted it to the kicks face for strengh.... i hate putting in screws and the mdf or plywood gets week over time and they tend to come loose.... not this time..... also the mids are attached with 4 of those really cool rockford fosgate torx nuts....

one finished door.... just needs the arm rest trim pieces, havent yet gone to the wreckers. there are no speakers in the door... but if i want to put 8s in there again, we are ready to go....
