XM tuner module for Kenwood KDC X792
 

When the intsall was completed the shop did not have a XM module for the KDC 792. I would like to have my XM back seeing that it is paid for. I was just wondering if there are any modules that are better than others? I think there are three or four for this deck and XM. Some seem as simple as a harnes and others have tuner boxes and the works?

Since your deck is Sat-ready, go for the simplest solution.....you can control all the functions right thru your deck and the only thing that shows is the small antenna on the dash or windshield.

i beleive kenwood only does sirius modules

I think you might be right...hafta check that one out tomorrow....

I had to rent a Montana a few weeks ago, and the factory deck came with the XM radio enabled....imagine my surprise to find Sirius channels listed in the radio.....I guess they are sharing channel feeds now.....:dunno:

Didn't Sirius buy XM a while ago? I thought I heard something about that last year......another mystery to be solved.....:D
