XM tuner module for Kenwood KDC X792

When the intsall was completed the shop did not have a XM module for the KDC 792. I would like to have my XM back seeing that it is paid for. I was just wondering if there are any modules that are better than others? I think there are three or four for this deck and XM. Some seem as simple as a harnes and others have tuner boxes and the works?

Thanks
Phil

Thumbs up

Since your deck is Sat-ready, go for the simplest solution.....you can control all the functions right thru your deck and the only thing that shows is the small antenna on the dash or windshield.

Nice set-up BTW.

I think you might be right...hafta check that one out tomorrow....

I had to rent a Montana a few weeks ago, and the factory deck came with the XM radio enabled....imagine my surprise to find Sirius channels listed in the radio.....I guess they are sharing channel feeds now.....

Didn't Sirius buy XM a while ago? I thought I heard something about that last year......another mystery to be solved.....
