lately I notice i can sit in my car with just the a-b amp and watch my gauge drop from 14 to 12.5 -13v volts(battery out of juice?)

all grounds are clean

been told it could be an internal short(it been depleted a few times as low as 9v)

had it on a charger at 90% the battery would hiss or make a sparking crackling noise!

bad alt? or dead/short battery?

For starters find some one or some where that can do a load test on your battery.

 

If you heard the battery make a crackling noise, 99% it's effed.
