150db on 2 jbl w15gti´s ???
i got 2 w15gti subs and im gonna be running them on 3krms do you think i could hit a 150db?...
what kind of vehicle?
its gonna be in the trunk of my 02 cavalier z24 in about a 7cft box
I would hope so. I have a 00 chev cavalier with 2-10s and 1000rms and my highest this year has been a 147 burp and 145 music. So with almost triple the cone area and power i dont see it being hard. Are you sure you can fit the 2-15s with enough port in the trunk of your car?
ya i already built a tester box in the trunk to see how it works out...worked well, took up the whole trunk but sounded good...gonna rebuild the the box in the spring, its hard to fit everything in the trunk but ill make it work
Yeah my box overall is 6 cubes and i just got it in. I could get maybe another cubic foot out of it and thats it. And i cut some of my trunk to get it in.
i built it in the trunk to fit it....no way it could fit in there otherwise...
Well like i said i had to cut and rebuild some of the trunk to make it all nice and neat again. Now i can slide in a box from inside the car up to about 7.5-8 cubes. But yeah if you built it and used every posible inch you could probably get up to about 10-11 cubes, due to trunk hinges.

Cavaliers are easy to get loud. The only thing is it's gonna play really low you probably have very little port area left to play with. The gti's have really big baskets you'll be lucky to get 50 sq. In. Port
i have 93 sq" for my pair of 12's.......barely lol, i doubt it will hit 145 but its nice and loud for beats
