amp question
#1
I am looking for an amp that produces approx. 3000-5000w @1ohm (or I guess .25 ohms is an option as well). I will be competing for the first time next year, and will be in street B. I am basically looking for the cheapest power. Any suggestions?

I would likely do a couple of smaller amps since you can run 2 or 4 strapped in B.
Power acoustic (talk to The A Team)
Riprocks (if you can get your hands on 2)
DD Z1 (talk to The A Team)
Crossfire (Talk to Riprock)
Orion
Viper
E-Audio (talk to Josh)
American Bass (talk to Dale aka-Green Hornet)

I could see 7k maybe 8k from 4 in street B.
For you I think VR4000D would be your best bet.
I'll talk to you on MSN.

hey there not cheap but you can find them used - an american bass 150.1 will more then likely pop that dd for you - i know my 200.1 popped normans 2-RE-12's with no problem - the 150.1 will do about 3000 watts @ .25 ohm's and 14.6 volt's and your going to need a very good battery you might talk to pat and robert at team shadow and they can hook you up - for the battery pat and robert know quite a few people and know where to go to get the right stuff but the amp you might try the trempro classifed's
