Dead amp due to low voltage.

my prediction is a fire caused by and amp starving for current .. a reall 4000 watt amp requires aproximatelly 400 amps of current... your 4awg is good for about 80 amps...so if you have a fuse and its a true 4000 watt amp fuse will blow... if no fuse amp will blow... if fuse and it doesnt blow...well you are getting less than 800 watts out of the amp :)

plus box will flex like aq s o b with that much power and that low tuning... if none of the above happens :)

VERY nice choice in sub though ;) lol should listen to these guys about your electrical very important with big amps like that. And if it was getting 4000w 147 lol I don't know what your after but for pure spl X's like 15cubes with 400sq" of port just my .02

The new 4Ks protect quite nicely at low voltages. Not to mention the bass knob doubles as a shut down button so it's quick and easy to reboot the amp.

Should note as well, DB don has a box for me to try out in the next week or so.
