Cactus 5k Power
 

I was going through my phone and found a pic of a power test we did with a cactus 5k. The test was done in Nate's car and his electrical conisist of a stock battery up front, with one run of each to a 2150 in the back. He burped at 45 hz and produced a 152.3 db.

Can't really tell what the current is, but 55*42 is like 2500... and judging by the numbers being so close rise is pretty small. i found the closer the numbers are together the lower the rise. So like 1 ohm and change? will have to plug into dongs sheet and see. not that good effeciency if i am right.

do you have volt drop and current draw on the DC side?

55.6 volts and 88.8 amps rising to .6ohms. No we didnt take the draw DC. The 45.2 is the frequency used

Very Nice. I was thinking the 888 on the meter was not the current measurement, and the 42.5 was. lol.

Nope sorry I didnt take pics of that. Those cactus amps are very powerful!!!!! And your thinking about selling them!

thinking about it yes!!! But not this season... Unless the price is right...lol I still haven't made it to one show with both of them.. Thats my goal for this season...lol

Just waut til people see the score with both amps in your car!

well hopefully everything will work out for this season and i will have lots of time to test and tune with both amps...
