I was looking into powerbass, they can be had for new for a not too bad of price. The crossfire is a little on the unavailable side, but if Mike and Mark still have theirs up for grabs after finals that might be the route I will take. Or of course a D3...nothing wrong with that.
As far as the Z1's - mucho bling bling, but they sure are purty.

Z1's strapped is 1.4 louder than 4000D
4000D is .5 louder then D3.

hey jimmyslide! one of the biggest issues with that car is the roof. there is nothing in that roof other that preaty much the sheet metal it is made of and some plastic head linner. if you are real lucky you have special edition that has the thin foam headlinner any how because of this a good idea is to use two layers of what ever kind of dead linner you so choose and use the highest frequency possible that works well for ya, or the roof will tend to obsorb all the energy that your subs will produce. you know that realy impresive roof ossilation that a lot of ametures with realy big subs and a low tunning frequency have. not that some of these cars aren't loud, just the less that u loose to vibration the better! that is the whole reason for things like pit crew!

Yeah...all that is in it is the factory stereo, so I haven't seen the roof flex yet...and hope not to. I like things to be nice and solid and just stay inside of the car.
Thanks for the roof tips Justin...and as far as the DD's...I would need 2 of them strapped to beat out a 4000D. I am assuming that 1 is about the same price as the 4000D, so I would rather just put the extra money into some new subs and some rather intersting and new box designs. Once I get that working for me...2 Z1's may be in order, but as for now I will see what I can do with my Riprock.
