I know I said I was gonna get the MA Audio type amp but they were sold out. Instead I found a Clff Designs amp that quite surprised me. It has dual 1/0 inputs and 10 guage subwoofer outputs. It's fused with four ATC 40 amp fuses which wasn't enough lol.

I thought I would see about half its rated power but I was proven wrong. The amp The amp tested out at 1628wrms at .7 ohm. It could go lower I "think" but I don't wann push my luck if I want to sell it. Anyway...The amp is slavable so thats a bonus.

I will have a better write up of the amp I just need to sort out the in car and bench tests.

Oh the reason they are at XS Cargo is because the 2" fan that is advertized it not there lol. I will be putting a fan into this one where the stock one would have been.

Cliff Designs and MA are owned by the same compnay so it could be more or less the same amp. Im sure you know that already, just mentioning for people who dont.

The Clif amp is the same as the Visonik V900. Clif design, MA audio and visonik are all owned by Anaba group. just watch that amp for vibrations, they hate vibration and explode. If it is the new style chasis it is still a V900 inside. But yeah they make power!!!

NICE !

dB Don 11-18-2004 10:07 PM

Voltage was approx 5 volts give or take .1

Juggernaut Sportage 11-18-2004 11:17 PM

is this amp the same as the ultra linear ul1500xs????

dB Don 11-19-2004 06:43 AM

no I don't think so, that one was quite a bit smalled in terms of parts inside.

Haunz 11-19-2004 04:15 PM

sorry Don, I ment what DC voltage was the amp being powered at... ??

dB Don 11-20-2004 09:22 AM

Oh it was just a 12 volt red top that was just recently charged so it would have been 14.6 at the start of the test and 10 volt during. Starting the vehicle, charger on, and vehicle off were all within 5 wrms provided I let the stuff cool and charge 10 min between tests.
