Hey fellas, I need a box design for a 99 VW golf. It's for a single 15 woofer(RFL) with about 4000 rms. I was wondering what your guys ideas on a decent box. Thanks guys. :D

Could you please elaborate a little bit on how I should go about doing this. Like should I be pointing the sub to reflect off the rear or should I have it hit forward? Should it be pointed at the roof? What tuning frequency should i use and is a CRX box a good choice. I want lots of input into this. Thanks though Mister Steve keep the comments coming. I already have a 5.5 cuft' box that is tuned to 63 hz. Really peaky box, worked well last year but I want to redo the system. Thanks

like mr.steve said... sub on passenger side..port on driver side... do not exceed the cone area of the sub with your post cross section area... if cone area is 120square inches for example ..make the port opening 120 square inches ie. 15"x8"(works awsome in my VW rabbit)... point them both upwards... I know you can get a fair bit more than 5.5 cubic feet in a VW Golf... probably around 7 ... and tune port to aprox 48-52hz

ok so firing up at the roof back at the glass or forward toward the windshield.
