Your allowed 1 battery(edit:in the stock location and no bigger than 800 cub. inches.)

and qualifying is where you establish your placement in the elimantion braket(1st,2nd,3rd,etc)...

The after that 1st vs 8th, 2nd vs 7th, etc...

Do you figure someone would be able to run 4 4000 watt amps off of only one battery.... or do you think that would require two batteries?

Running 4- Crossfire 4000D's would be pretty tough on any battery used in street, but I'm sure somebody has tried it. I'd say go with 2 G31's, but thats just me.

you could run a couple of those, we used one in Jay's Laser with a single L7 12 in a 1.75 cubbed and hit a 143.1, I just wish I knew what it drew amperage wise......

a good rule of thumb as to the amperage that u will draw is about 10% of your rms wattage. ie 10% of l000 watts is 100amps! as for the 4 4000d,s off of a single stock battery! you can see how that just won't hapen. you are not even going to come close to those amps potential! 10% of 16000 watts if 1600amps. good luck at finding a deep cycle that will be the required dementions and put out that kind of current at a continuous 12 volts! not to be a downer. but the gear u are looking at is cool. there are some amps out there that produce about 5000watts and only draw about 300amps current! so if you are interested pm me i will tell u more! have fun

From what I have been told...
2 D3's is louder than 2 4000D's in Street B.

But as tested...

1 4000D is louder than 1 D3 in Street A.

i have tested that exact test! funny how things work :D

at my impedences, it came out that 2-d3's were same as the 2- crossfire 4000's (BUT the crossfires cut out like 50% of the time or more [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img] ), But 1 VS 1, the Crossfire won by about .5 db's.
