3x means three times the points as you said. 2x means two time the points etc etc 1st 8pt , 2nd 7pt all the way down to 8th which gets 1pt.... make sense |
Eligibility for competition at the dB Drag Racing World Finals is partially based upon a competitor's point's accumulation throughout the season. To accrue points, a competitor must compete at an officially sanctioned dB Drag Racing event. (Officially sanctioned events can be found on our event calendar at Termpro, db drag racing, spl meter, spl car audio, loudspeaker systems, wayne harris.)
Points for Standard Classes will be awarded as follows: * First Place - 8 Points * Second Place - 7 Points * Third Place - 6 Points * Fourth Place - 5 Points * Fifth Place - 4 Points * Sixth Place - 3 Points * Seventh Place - 2 Points * Eighth Place - 1 Point Points awarded at multi-point events will be multiplied as follows: * Double Point - 2x the standard points awarded * Triple Point - 3x the standard points awarded * World Finals - 4x the standard points awarded |
here is to hoping if a location is coordinated from Eastern Canada that is not a flop.
remember folks this isnt just a "regular" event. Finals is just that.. FINALS.. so if it has a marvelous turnout like the CALI and FL locations had in the passed then Canada will also be right up there as a failure location wise. Here is to hoping people make this a success. |

too late for canadian location, db drag has already spat in our faces. what will happen is this, people will go out and buy memberships, spend time and money on driving to and entering events, in the mean time there wont be any word on a eastern canadian location and by the time seasons rolles to a close (around sept-october) no one will know if there will be a eastern canadian location. then when time comes around for finals (pfffffffft march) we will be quietly told that there is no eastern canadian location..........another slap to our face. quote me on this. |
