Fi Vs. TC Sounds
 

Hey yall,

I am debating on either 1 Fi btl or 1 TC Sounds LMS-Ultra in a 2004 Ford explorer. The LMS can go to 5000W RMS. Whereas the BTL goes 2000.
What should i go for?
BTW - I am trying to make a killer spl machine.
Money is not an issue:thumbsup:

The BTL is the better sub for burping.

BTL, people are throwing a lot more than 2kw to them...

TC Sounds has a bunch of idiots working for them, and service is pure ****. I would ignore TC based on that. I would go for Fi.

The LMS-Ultra is over US$2000. Not budget oriented at all and not designed for SPL either.

then its just a rip off

Ya that nice price hike was crap.

Could get like 4 BTLS way cheaper then 1 LMS.

I am a big promoter of Digital Designs or Treo. They sound clean too.

Steve Meade has 4 BTLs with 4 rockford t4000.1bds How much do yall think hes giving to each sub?
How much more power can each sub take and still be stable?

I always looked at tc sounds as sq gear

LOL dude dont short change yourself... I personally can't figure SPL out, but I check u stats out, you seem to understand it. Look I not tryin to start a fight with u, well too late, but was just tryin to say that people with you abilities in spl are an asset to people like myself. I dont really understand SPL and if I would had someone around when I started doing spl, I might be doin aalot better. Ok u got that I guess. But u gotta have a meter, in order to see that. I got no meter, so it hit and miss. Thats y my high is 146.2, but this my first season, so I happy with that. Hey yuli u know where I can find a mic for decent price?? used w/e dont care, long as it termlab and gives me some semi accurate numbers. I a poor ass keep that in mind
