Hey wondering, I listen to mostly rap, what would be the best hz setting on my amp? its a dual ported box, 2 compvrs amp is a kicker kx600.

you talking about the crossover point? or the subsonic filter setting?

crossover - a goot starting point is 80Hz. start around there and adjust to taste [img]smile.gif[/img]

It removes all high frequences going to your subs. By removing these frequences your sub can re produce the bass easier as it is not trying to reproduce the singers voice.

Now if your using a Subwoofer output on your deck then it may already be adjusted where the amp isn't gonna make a whole lot of difference unless you set it to a lower frequency than the deck is supplying.

You have to adjust it to what you like the sound of.. For me i Listen to Hiphop/Rap/R&B and some dance, so the setting of 80hz works fine. If I throw in AC/DC / G&R / the hip then i move it to 120hz because it gives alot more kick with that type of music..
