Just curious... after all the spazzamaloots have gone on their spazz fits... what is the worst wiring, or otherwise, accident you've witnessed in an SPL vehicle?

it wasn't an spl car but when I was first into car audio and didn't think a fuse was neccesary I had the piece of 8 gauge I had running to the trunk short out and light my carpet on fire

we managed to get it out before the whole car went up , but damn did it stink in there for a long time

I understand the fuse causes an spl drop, but could a guy use some kind of main disconnect swith that you open at the battery when your not using the stereo to denergize the wire

saw a power wire turn into a light bulb once custom install by a DIY'er

we got a pic of vince kelty' amps go up in flames at IASCA Finals last year. he has the memphis logo burmed into his palm.(like the german guy in Raiders of the Lost Ark)

I have heard of a few Visions installs from Calgary causing a few flames, but never seen it happen.

I completely disconnect my pos from the battery going to the back of the car after every show.

Only hook it up when I get to the comp so it's really only connected for a couple of hours at a time

I made one of my multimeter go up in smoke the other day! Put the red wire in the DC amp slot instead of the vdc slot by acciden. LMAO
