Incriminator Audio 20.1's

I'd like to try and set up a group buy on these things. If you check out Termpro you'll know that "20.1's ain't no joke!!"... they put out a lot of power and can be run at insanely low impedences. (we're talking .25 for a strapped pair)

Good for street class because they can be strapped and are virtually bulletproof.

Good for the higher class because they can take 16v out of the box.

So are any of you guys interested?

I'll need a certain minimum for this to be worth everyone's while though...

Please post in this thread or send me a PM if you're interested.

Team Stupid SPL-Chris 07-05-2006 01:35 PM

Depending on what the price is, i'd be interested in 4.
I'd like to see some power tests on them as well.

i might be interested depending on price
ps
20.1s aint not joke!!

JordyO 07-05-2006 02:12 PM

For pricing... no promises yet, but here's where I'm hoping we'll end up.

MSRP on them is $959 US
Another US site is selling them for $750 US

I'm going to try and get them below the other US site, but in Canadian funds ;)

oh... and you won't be able to find any power tests anywhere, but people are saying 'over 2500 per amp out of a strapped pair' :D

Here's a couple of threads from Termpro about them... so far I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about them.

I would be in on that price if it were canadian shipped :D..

Dukk 07-05-2006 02:53 PM

can they handle real world play or just bumps?

JordyO 07-05-2006 02:59 PM

Can definitely handle real world play... they're virtually bulletproof. Everything I've ever read about them from competitors says they put them through insane abuse with no problems. We're talking .7 ohms for strapped pair daily ;)

Scottie Johnson won the Super Street death match with them last season, so they can take a hell of a beating.

btw... another thread about the abuse given to them from the Incriminator Forums ;)

tommy mckinnie is using 20.1s for his bass race vehicle that he drives quite frequently. And he's #1 in the world.

I think they take 16 + volts unmodded aswell which is where they really wake up.

JordyO 07-05-2006 09:11 PM

ahh yeah, how could I forget Tommy? The king of bass race!

You're right though, they take 16v out of the box ;)

how do they compare against DD Z1 or AB 400.1 one on one?

I would be willing to do the test if someones got a 20.1

Justin LaRouche 07-06-2006 12:56 AM

not a bad price.

now keep in mind ive never used any of the three....but the generalization i see from various forums is that the z1 is extremely picky for daily use...the AB has some warranty issues and the IA is a well rounded durable powerhouse of an amp. Now you may personally outweight power over warranty and warranty over versatility or vice versa but either way the 20.1 aint no joke.

btw if this didnt make since ive had many long islands in me tonight.

Well... considering it's an amp rated at 1800w vs a 3000w and 4000w amp, I'm sure the 20.1 won't put out quite as much power.

But considering I'm trying to get them to people for less than 1/2 the price of either of those amps, it's not a bad deal. ;)

If you want to do a fair comparison to the Z1 or AB then let's see what happens when the 40.1's arrive.

Lessy 07-06-2006 10:59 AM

iighty, we could do that... cause I already know which amp was louder between the Z1 and 400.1

oh, another thing, whats the size of these 20.1?

JordyO 07-06-2006 11:27 AM

Straight from their web page....

10.25" Wide x 2.25" Height x 21.75" Long

btw... here's a link to the manual if anyone wants to check it out.
