Your mom is not even close to being the second loudest. Just because she hit pause and unpause does not make her have a loud car. There are probably hundreds of girlfriends out there that have done what your mom did, hit the pause and unpause button. Not trying to rain on your parade or anything, but if you didn't help build or finance a car or heck even hold the title on it, you basically have no part of it.

Signing a check is at least justifiable, they are at least putting money into it.
