Loudest sub combo for $500-$600

Hey guys

I've been through lots of different sub setups but they have never been loud enough for me. I've always had good amps and proper enclosures. However, because of trunk space i've always have a single 12 setup. I really want something loud this time and im looking at multiple subs that can fit into my civic coupe.

I have a cadence A7 amp that does 800 at 2 and 1200 at 1 I think. Can you guys recommend something to me for your past experiences?

I've had orion HCCA, rockford t2, etc mainly spl subs, but i'm a little more into sq now. I heard Kicker L7's can get real loud but they are expensive, comp vrs, jl w3s, but im just looking for more opinions.

Thanks alot

If you want to go with multiple drivers, you may want to check out the Digital Designs 1000 series. 400W rms power handling, mate a pair of 1000 Series 10" to your Cadence amp and you'll extract the most from your system.

Drop the pair into a 2.6 cu ft ported enclosure and that'll be one killer sounding SQ and SPL system.

If you want to go with a single driver, then go with a Digital Designs 2500 12" with your same Cadence amp. DVC 4ohms. 2 cu ft ported enclosure. Great reliability, awesome SQ and SPL.

haven't had personal experience with the DD2500 series..but they're supposed to have optimal performance in small sealed enclosures...the 1000 series i have had personal experience with..and they're great subwoofers...

Id look into a pair of RE SE's 3 cubes total (after port displacement and sub displacement box will be 2.5 cubes, port should be 4" aero port 12" for 30Hz and 8" for 35 Hz) ported at 30-35 Hz and they will rock your world... they will drop down and still hit the hard notes. the subs are dual 4 ohm so the pair will load your amp down to 1 ohm where it wants to play and produce full power

you just cant go wrong, Ill be on the top side of your budget + tax but well worth the cash!

so from you experience its the best sub combo?

is moving from 1 to 2 subs a huge difference?

ur asking some pretty broad questions :) going from one entry level sub to a pair of top-flight products will be a monstrous difference - but the other way around might not be any diff at all....

the SE's will push your budget to the top for sure (prolly too much). but you can't go wrong! RE makes some phenomenal product - I've had wicked luck with it.
