A manufacturer once asked me......(need your input)
 

....a manufacturer asked me, "Yuli, what would SPL guys like to see in an official (insert manufaturer name here) team?"

Two things that ARE NOT optional answers are:

1. Cheap/free gear as it would already be affordable.
2. Solid support on manufacturer's part as it would already be there.

So I ask, if any of you were chosen to be a part of an official team of a car audio company, what would you like to see that company do/deliver/perform as far as the team goes?

My second question is, if you had a desire to join such team, what would you do/deliver/perform that would set you apart from the rest of people who also want to be part of such team?

"I would go to every show" is NOT an optional answer.

is TF1 going to be starting a team?

I'd like to see a manufacturer help with costs of competing at finals be it finals entry fee paid or even a food allowance, every little bit helps. I don't know what I would do to set me apart from everyone else.

Id Rep it everywhere i go not only at shows and cruse nights but in parkin lots and drivin down the road lol. Local Timmies when people are like wow thats loud What you got? You tell them what you got and where to get it.

I would like to see Rep have parts when i need them. support with boxes and ect. of course cheaper costs on buying equipment. I.E if there a sub rep, help me find cheap amps through there contacts. we all know there is nothing free but if they want you at a certain show the should help cover entry ( but we all know that's a dream). The one thing i really want is when i need help they will call me back.

I would want expect Strippers in the hotel room if you win finals.

I would invite the boss to the hotel room if finals were won.

since i already work in a shop and do most of the selling and installing it would be very easy to take said company and really show the benifits of there gear over a nother company. going to show and reping stickers and all that stuff is a given. doign as best you can at every shop and even going further like having a show car that is also an sq car and maybe even an spl car. depenign on what the company is looking for. also holding a show in your local area if your not in one of the huge cities. if nothing else to get the locals to know more about the product.

as for what would be good from the company, they should know as much as possible about there product and any info would help out a bunch. as well as one off pieces like modified amps or different voice coils in subs. stuff thats a little different from the off the shelf stuff would be cool. and iv always wanted to see a rep help out on a tight deadline if needed.

another thing being from a shop it would be great to see the rep bring in sum other cars to the shop to get worked on.

What would I like to see in an official (manufacturer) team? .... more sponsorships! Make their product more available. Support with show fees is always a help.

What would I do/deliver/perform that would set me apart from the rest? .... well I'd have to start with learning as much as possible about my new teams products. How can I use these to win competitions? SQ/SQL/SPL? Find out what the manufacturer would like to showcase. What kind of message are they trying to portray. Then, get a good vehicle for the cause, deaden the crap out of it, and design something that will show it all to it's fullest potential. Even if it meant building many designs to improve.

I would actively promote they're product, through everything from competitions to local gatherings, showcase the winnings (like Nick :worshippy:)) I'd get on sites like these and help others with issues and share in all the experience I've gained using their products.

I'm sure there's more ... the kids are bugging me to go start the fire.

hmmmm yah this is as hard as i thought it would be.

cmon guys someone have a break thru!!! Asking for cheap/free gear is very noob, people who actually think good gear can be had for free arent worth any company's attention.

Please dont mention support either as it would be there already.

Moddified amps and subs? Why? 99% of heavy hitting competitors do their score with sock, unmodified equipment. Asking for modded stuff is kinda noob as well.

Helping out with entry fees..........maybe....but more of a dream. I wish someone helped me lol.

Paul, wouldnt you wanna do that anyways if you want to win? regardless if you are on a team or not?
