question, does that addition violate the behind the b pillar rule? or has that rule been tossed? was it even a rule?

basically section 6 of the rule book makes me wonder if you'd get dq'd

Nope.. already did the speaker wire test. noting is passed the b pillar and is not physically attached to the center console. If i tape it I'm screwed but if i use weather stripping on the inside I'm good. the weather stripping is not attached to the console only rest's on it. Catch my drift homie

hahaah ya man...cardboard and tape... make more waveguides SPL is cheap tuck tape and cardboard...not amps batteries and more expensive subs.... that comes when we run out of cheap ideas

the most simple way I can explain the divider is to call it a waveguide...simple because that is what it does...it guides the air towards the sensor... at the same time you need to be carefull as it changes the tuning of the enclosure because it is acting as the port

yeah that was my other question, how it affected the tuning of the whole thing. I'm also trying to think of some little ideas to boost my spl, but then I gotta dump the spl car seat. maybe at the next test session I'll run it by you and you let me know what you think?
