thats the plan.. 18s would have given me only a 3-7 in port. im looking to wards 10-14" with the 15s.

still dunno if thats enough, why not go with a pair of 18's? that would give you tons of port, unless you cant stack them properly.

That would also put him in ss1-2 but suvs have been loud in ss1-2 2 jeep cherokee in the 165-166 range so that might work also.

well depends on power..but should be able to easily break his current score with just one amp... looking for 156-157dB with a single amp
but Im not sure yet how badly he will get screwed over by the sunroof

??? serious? since when?
I remember when I did that in my rabbit it was over a Db gain because it was leaking so much
but holding it would loose over a dB its kinda messed up
