I had posted i was goin to post pics of my build so here is the beginning stages and im still planning it out.....not too much yet.....but ya!!

the system is goin to be a 18" Fi, fresh PSI SUPER re-cone, i have a little 2kw amp for now, not sure what im going to use for the real power.....
im starting from the tin up......gonna sealer up, mat it out, tune up the engine, and start buildin!!!!
I already made the bus bars outa 1"x3" 6061 flat bar, and have a coil of 1/0 welding cable, and 175 sq ' of blue skin......i know thats a debatable product but im on a budget

im thinkin either an eg dash-swap, or maybe a newer civic dash-swap and console...
does that constitute equilvilent replacement?

that car looks like it's finished with.

the front door skin is completelly cut out, looks like the dash was cuz off as well. where the gas tank is the floor looks like it was cut off.

Damn that would of bin a good extreme 1 car if that class was still around lol.

no....nothings cut, just removed, i bought this car from a dood that was gonna ice race it, he removed everthing to lighten it up......i paid 200 bux, he said the timing belt snapped, i had it running in 2 hrs.....figured out it was actually a vapour lock......it rips too!!

i have a donor car for the bits, alot of work yes, but the price was right, especially for a spl specific ride!!!
its gonna be a fun project!!

got my new dash, and some blueskin, gonna try to have it in by sunday,,,will post the pics then!!!

oh ya scored a nice set of bucket seats out of a newr integra i think they came out of

yeah id like to see more im doing a build as well in my mazda mx-3 decided to do a wall with a 21 " IA warden ill be doing the pic thing as well

its a transformer...
can wait to see what it transforms into

its going to take a week or two to get really get going on this, but my ol lady did run out to K-town today and pik up my dash, and by chance she also came back with the heater core, and a bunch of other stuff!!!

my blu skin should be in tomorrow, gonna be a late night,

and i have to fabricate the lower part of the dash as its broke off....so ya....thats cool

some absolutly insane talent on here, and hope my build can keep u all entertained, i always like following other peeps build logs...

got the dash in last nite, well, partly anyway, still gotta build the face,
and got started on the seat mounts.......cameras dead, pics a little l8er

haha......nice....just found a sweet deal on a B16a complete swap....definatly not gonna happen before this season, but it is gonna happen this yr fer sure, prolly throw it in, in october!!

damn.....what a hectic week.....nothing done at all in the rex.....just piked up my deadener, gonna start tonight, and goin to pik'n'pull in the am to get all the bits i need....i'll throw some piks up tonight!! :)

3 hrs.....copius beers drained, and this is all i got done......sad man.....oh well.....better than nothing eh!!

got out to K-town .....scored lots of pcs!!!

almost done with the dash now, got the heater core back in, the blower and all the ducts, dammn....this thing was cheap, but was it worth it for all the werk involved?

i just love drivin around thumpin.....if it did a decent # that'd be really cool too!!
im hopin low to mid 140's.......we'll see i guess
not sure if i can swing the $$ for the big amp and copper anymore, blew the tranny in my bike.....so???

progress = slow
12-14 hr days at werk than werkin on the car = brutal
dash is comin along, just need to finish the console
gonna start buildin the new box for the L7,
still waitin on the $$$ for the Fi recone

man 5 kids, a house, new truck, a harley and a stereo addiction= hurtin.....lol :)

dash is 99% now just 2-3 more little pcs i need to track down
carpets in, scored some seats as well, still need to find the drivers door and some rims, picked up more wire today, gonna start pullin my wire tomorrow :)
and makin the buss bars on wed.......i have a length of 1"x3" 6061 aluminum.......hehehhe 20 ft length for.......freebie complements my shop
gonna also start trakin down either a mechman big azz alt or i heard theres a gm alt u can throw in these things with a few mods? no big deal

ok than.......got the temp system in.......2 KW of power....woohoo!!
and my L7 in a bitchen a$$ slot box........its thumpin kinda......gonna change the box tomorrow to a rex style box.....hovering around 144-145deebeez
still savin fundage for the recone....

if your on a budget and need deadener......i used this stuff called resisto.....from Rona......its a water proof membrane ashfault based sealer......it works real good.....and its only $40 for just over 100 sq '

ye haw kiddies......got my drivers door replaced, dash is finished 100%, actually the entire interior from B piller forward is 100%, also found that plastic trim pc around the sm glass in the hatch that peeps were sayin i needed!!
picked up a alpine -x300, very nice deck, and a set of mb quart 6.5 in the doors....had to make new trim rings.....but they're in there
sounds VERY good......still need to add an amp for the front stage....but as it is its nice!!
i think im gonna order that recone on my next cheque, and make a new box again.....i have a bitchen idea for a rex style box for a 18" er,

After all that you're sellin it?! Projects are fun. I guess if you're done with one, that just means on to another one. Good work. Post some final pics.
