Well as an SQ guy who knows very little about SPL let me take a shot at this. In North America we have a car called the CRX, and it is very easy to get loud in the dtreet classes, so easy in fact that they have an SPL box called the CRX box that is guaranteed to be pretty loud with very little testing (I got up to 147.9 with a pair of MTX MXS1204's off a MTX T8100D with stock charging system (including 6 year old factory battery)). Well in Europe the CRX came with a back seat which makes it impossible to use the same configuration. Luckily for them they have the Panda, which is similar in concept, except the box is called the 'Panda Box' and it is similar to Rob V.O.'s setup if I am not mistaken.

In Europe they use the Panda not only because their CRX has a back seat, but also just because the Panda is a better vehicle for spl. It has a much higher resonant frequency.
I don't believe Rob has ever run a box that is similar to a Panda box though.
