option audio?

What is the quality of option audio? People reckon there good for the money. They seem to be cheap in price do they perform? Say you had the oax3200 amp could you really squeeze 3000w rms out of that?

I know where those come from... updated design of the Massive P3000.1 amplifier. Performs about the same with a few minor board updates and a stacked design rather than end-to-end. Pretty decent for the money, don't run it below rated impedance :)

thanks for the info i'll keep that in mind:smilie_da

lol I wont have any need to go below 1ohm
I’m still looking for a car so I have plenty of time to do my research for the system.
My friend reckons to get a "true" rms amp you’ll pay roughly a $1 per watt so that amp will be $3000 that’s why I think it won’t be 3000w rms
Is it even fan cooled?
What’s the rated T.H.D levels at 3000w?

1$ a watt is old news. Depending where you buy and what compagny, it could be less then 50cents a watt.

THD is pretty high at 3000 watts @ around 4-5% but it will do a good 2800 watts @ 14.4v w/ 2% THD and around 2200 watts @ 12.6 v w/ 2% THD both at a 2 ohm load (1 ohm per amp, as there are two amps bridged inside this unit).

I have spec sheets from the factory that builds it in front of me :)

Also... keep in mind that is a 2 ohm stable amp, not 1 ohm.

It's not fan cooled, but doesn't really need to be.

Interesting sundownz thanks

Any luck emailing the spec sheets or are they confidential?
