I recently picked up a really really potent little car for SPL cometition and I want to build a wall in it. What works best these days that's been proven. I remember back in the day you tune your ports to your quarter wave length to the dahs, +5hz to make up for the increased speed of sound at increased air pressure. This still vaild?..
Any tips on port location?. Between the seats, port firing into the mic?. I have to double check the classes but I'll be running either 2 or 3 DD9510G's (Thanks Yuli) depending which would be more advantageous for classing.
Power wise also depends on class but I'll be running the maximum I can depending on number of amplifiers.
The will remain a myth untill the project is done. but it has a VERY short length from b-pillar to windshield. the dash is only 4" deep.

you could do street max with 3 10's in a wall. dont know how competative that would be with other walls tho. the fact that its 10's could probably lead to the situation where the box is way too big b/c its a wall.
with how small the car is, fitting the extra batteries and multiple amplifiers I really don't have much of a choice. if the subs go in the rear trunk/hatch area I'd have to mount the batteries and amps where the back seats were.
The standard wall set up used today is woofers loaded to the passenger (mic) side, port on the driver side and start tuning from there... just make sure you build it really strong, the wall in m van was a layer of 2x4's then 3 layers of 1"mdf so it was 4 1/2" thick and the baffle was 5" thick.... and build it as big as you can fit because its alot easier to take up volume after the fact then try to add it!
