I had last years model and it was a very good sub, handled 1800 watts per coil on music, and never had a problem. The new ones have different coils in them, so i dont know how well they sound. There is a member on here (masterstone) who has 2 of them you could ask him.

that seems like alot of sub for $200 thats for sure i dont have any experience with them but if they can hold up like the one ridinspinners had (yeah im h4x00r h3ll) then i think for 200 it would be hard to beat

Like i said ealier i played 1800 watts per coil on musc not burping and it had not problem. Never over heating, smelling or sounding like crap over time. they are a great sub and have not changed much other then the coil material and design in basket. Which in some cases can be alot but not if its a 200 dollar sub.

i had 2 of the 3001d4's powered by the hifonics 2006d brutus amp and they pounded good, solid sub i was just a retard and set my gains wrong and clipped both of them. They were running 1000 watts a piece @ 1 ohm and were great.
