Power Acoustik

I was just wondeirng if these amps are any good... like do they over heat or anything or go bad after awhile because i was planing on getting this amp.. but for the name it self power acoustik is it a reliable and trusted name say like jbl and jl and etc... i never herd or came in contact with this brand b4

Very overated series if you want a decent amp from them go with the class-d amps.

I have the ov1-5500D, and it's a solid amp for the money. I paid about 400 for it after all was said and done. I would definately say to spend the extra couple of bucks and get another "rated" 100o watts more.

P.S. It definately doesn't put out that much power.

that amp is rated at "3200 W x 1 CH @ 1 Ohms" what would you say that actual rms out put for this amp is? 2800? at 1 ohms or a lot less?

tough call..

it pushed my RE SX18 ***** to the wall. with a relatively shitty electrical.

That amp has 150 amps of on-board fusing. It can therefore put out a maximum of 1800 watts RMS @ 12 volts...

hmmm how about the hifonics amp? would they give better power than this?
