RD Heavyweight 15"

I have a chance to pick up the above sub, dual 2ohm. It's not direct from the company, nor will it be going to RD when something happens to it...then it goes to PSi ;-)

What I need to know is, will it handle 2 Alpine MRP-M2000's one per coil, assuming the gains are matched correctly. The website says 3-4kwrms. Is this over/underrated. It will obviously be going in a box designed for the sub to handle that power if it's possible. By the waythis will be going into the trunk of a 2005 4 door civic, sealed from the trunk, sub and port into the cabin.

Also, I have about 39"w X 16.5"t X 20ish"d. WoUld that work. I would like atleast mid to high 40's on music if possible outta that setup. I do realize I need atleast 3 batts, 1 under hood and two in the trunk, HO alt.

Thanks,
Chris

We ran 2 Rd 3250`s strapped to 1 RD Heavyweight 15 and its still going.

Just make sure its clean power and signal and you should be fine.

Distortion kills woofers!

Hope this helps

That box size should work just fine that's 5.8ish cu ft internal before displacement of sub and port

What do you guys think about a couple of these in the trunk? 108ah is pretty good, I think the biggest shuriken batt is like 120ah. Oh by the way I won't be paying anything fir them either.

Thanks,
Chris
