either is fine. aero is easier

I have always done slot..And I do well.

aero is much much easier to dial in your loudest tuning etc

areo ports ftw

depends on application/design

Most of the time I do a combonation. I make flanged slot ports. There really not that hard to make.

If you can do external port (hatchback style), aeroport is the way to go IMO. If the port size needed allow you to located an aeroport optimally in the box when doing internal port, in a way that the flare won't block much of the box volume and so, they can be great too. However, when doing flared slot port, it is easier to get much port area and you're unlimited on the kind of flare you want to use.
