small space, big bass
got my set up almost tweaked, 18" fi fully loaded, on a bit of power...in a '91 civic HB, now im thinkin, since im halfway there anyway.....why not throw another 18 in and wall it off.......enough airspace,
I figure i can get a solid 14-15 cubes out of it and still have room for the amps an batts..... just throwin it out there, they would running off 2 powerbass 3000's for this yr, till i can get the real power in there!!! im shootin for a streetmax setup, or does 2 18's throw it into SS? |
dBDRA Rules - Master Index
Looks like you'd be good to go for street max, as long as no other rules are broken. |
ya i read that already.....its just the last time i competed i thought it was something like 4-12's, 2-15's, or 1-18.......so ya it still doesnt really clarify......is that still the way it is, or could i throw in 4 -18's and be done with it........i have lots of experience in this......but took a 5 yr break.....lol

Street Max (according to that page) - 1-4 Woofers, walls allowed, 2 amps (Maximum of 2 amps (or 4 monoblock amplifiers) – 4 Conductors total between amp rack and sub enclosure), 1 battery (800in^2)
Street C – 1-18 or 2-15’s or 4-12’s or 6-10’s or 8-8's / Maximum of 2 amps (or 4 monoblock amplifiers) – 4 Conductors total between amp rack and sub enclosure -no walls You only go up to Super Street if you are running multiple batteries and/or 16+V, with some other technicalities as well, but long story short. (That is the way I understand it anyway) |
