Oh man...I can't wait to get this stuff hooked up and rollin'....
Just quick run down of what I have so far....
1 HardCore RipRock 500D
4 10" V106S4's(will likely not live very long..hehe)
and..
35 ft of 2/0 welding cable
I'll keep you all posted as things progress...one day... [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
And will someone tell me if this will qualify for the XS Cargo Unoffical Thingamabob...LOL

I'll be interested to see how those 10's work out for you... I got one of the 12's yesterday after seeing my own subwoofer budget get slashed by bills to almost nothing 
Tested it freeair this morning with an old but good 120w home amp... came closer to blowing the amp than the sub (never saw that amp's heatsinks get as hot before). Not that this thing sounded that great, but for $25 I ain't complaining.

Right now I'm trying to decide what to build...do I go bigass box in the trunk or do I go wall?
The wall would be easier to build really, but I loose visibilty and room..
but if I go in the trunk,I loose a heap of trunk space, but keep things out of sight as well...
I think I may have just answered my own question..
Now...What kind of box?
If anyone has ideas,PM me...I'm open to ideas...

Ok...So after a talk with Rob and a quick visit to the xs cargo website last night,I decided to go trade in the Visonik's....

We looked at em and they have almost twice the surface area,almost twice the magnet and is an all poly cone rather than untreated paper something...
It's also going to make it easier to harness the full use of the Rip Rock...

Hehehe, that Rip Rock would've slaughtered the Visoniks
I was curious about those Rockbox units myself - was real tempted to get one for the same reasons you cite but ultimately decided to go with what I'd already picked out before hand.
