with all due respect, joining something would probably be to your benefit more than anyone else's here.
if you want to learn something and get louder you should probably be looking to join a team vs. trying to get people to join yours as the latter would present zero benefit to anyone on here. trust me, you think your system is loud until you either come to a show and find out how un-loud it is, or meet knowledgable people who can just tell you how un-loud it is. it's harsh but it's true. so, if you really want to know how loud, or not, your system is you can holla at me maybe, i have the real meter that will show you the real number your system is capable of. just a suggestion. Like I said in others on different threads I'm not the most experienced nor the greatest but the work I do and know I can do can definately speak for itself Ill take you up on that offer |
Did u compete? I'm willing to test ur ride if u wanna know how it is

The only way to know how loud it is, is to get it metered.

btw i wasnt trying to punk you, just saying how it is.
i used to go to comps and be like meh, i have bigger subs, bigger amps i'd rock all these guys. then i entered i would come almost dead last. i used to think i know what i was doing cuz i read all the forums etc and could set off car alarms and stuff. entering my first comp was a rude awakening for me, that's when i realized i had no idea what i was trying to do even though i had the best equipment money could buy at that time. just saying, come join peeps that know wtf is up |

if anything I'd say wait to come to a show in nicer weather, the turn out is wayyyyyy better, and it gives you the chance to interact with a lot more people, and might help you on your quest to a team. honestly when its this time of the year and the weather isn't all that pleasant only the die hards or the local guys make it out, and usually the loudest cars are the db drag guys. occasionally you will get the loud ass mofo's coming too, but they're hit and miss unless the weather is nice.
but yeah, definitely take these guys up on their offer if they're letting you meter your system. in 2008 I was in a similar boat, granted probably with less gear, but I thought I was the loudest guy on the block. the Thursday before my first show I met with Yuli and got to see how loud I was. 2 12''s on 500 watts and a 137 and I thought I was incredible, especially because I could do 29.9 bass race. then at the show that Sunday, jonesbrooklyn was there and I jumped when he burped his car. then I saw the 50 something and thought there was a ton of subs in his car...all I saw were two 12''s. although now car audio has made me broke, so beware lol oh, and Yuli is a good Portugese teacher if you need lessons or anything translated hahahaha |
Talk to Yuli and get your car metered. I'm actually gonna be doing some testing this week sometime so if you want to roll out for a quick test lemme know.
