It seems that in street, crx's seem to do pretty good...
|
I think Colt hathcbacks seem to do pretty good as well...
You take a look at the rake of the rear window, which has been pointed out to me by certain paople, and its an almost perfect 45 degree angle...well..on Robs at least...very good angle of deflection.... IMO, CRX's are being over done...someone needs to do something original..Theres a Gremiln just down my backlane that I've thought many times "if I was in a better position money wise..."...Then again,I think I'm about the only one on this board whos hardcore into the retro thing ...soo.. My 2 drakma's... [ November 16, 2003, 10:42 AM: Message edited by: 8TrackBoy ] |
Dodge Omni's and Plymouth Horizons...in case you don't like Honda. :D

Was thinking ss1-2 class//////
|
It depends on what you have planed for equipment in the class. Do you want 40 batteries? Well that wouldn't fit in a car. Only using 2-10 batteries and 15's? Maybe a small car would be better. Kinda get the were I am going. All cars have potential to be real loud. All it takes is the right amount of equiptment and alot of testing. I am doing SS1-2 next year in my Escort.

I DONT think it matters what car you get for ss1-2 as long as you can fit all your gear in it.

What's this, Chris changed his name but not his face!
At least HE hasn't changed, spelling and grammer corrections are still FREE! |

Speaking of retro, I had a 1976 AMC Gremlin back in the early 90's, and I did it up for SPL, worked fantastic, just wasnt the prettiest thing on the road!!!

so realy what you are lookng for is a small vehicle. Hatch backs are best because they bounce the sound wave and direct it to the front window. The angle of the window should be about 42 - 47 degrees. But if your looking for giant spl make shure and build you box properlly-did I spell that right-also match the resistance of your amps to your subs. I made the $5000 mistake and learned that the hard way.
