You dont need to have it by cutoff date it just has to be relased before the cut of date, which happens to be July 21.

And what are these new AMERICAN BASS amps you speak off? Never heard nothing about it?

Haven't tested the amp yet but it is supposed to be more efficient than the 7kd. And even for the 7kd not being as efficient as other amps it still produced good power when by itself on a single battery. But where the 7kd's inefficiency came into play was when two 7kds where on a single battery then both amps where no stronger than two less powerful cheaper more efficient amps.

But for street A the new 7k2d if it's more efficient like it's supposed to be then it'll be a top street A amp and probably work very well for B also. But once I get one I'll be posting my test results for my street A set up and it's efficiency. I really can't make any conclusion until then.

And even though I'm with Stetsom I think the amps to beat for Street A, B, or C will be the DD Z2LV. From the tests I've been reading it's really efficient and putting out great power. But the down side of the DD amp is it's huge at 31+".

As much as I love DD I'll still be running Stetsom at finals. (Assuming I make it) Got to support the company that supports me.
