well a certain someone began to make me quesiton myself on plans.

#1 essential, BIG AMP. now how big can you go before being "too" big. what amps can put out a good 3 second burp on one battery? us amps 3000/6000? crown 6000? anyhting else over 4kw that can or cant? some may have their secrets, but im just hesitant on buying a huge amp,a nd it wont do ****! although there would have to be a way to amke it work, even though it draws 900 amps :|

#2 well technically 2-10's or 3-8's have more cone area than 1-12. but in a smaller vehcile with the 2- 10's in an undersized box be able to preform as much as a 12" in a box the size for both 10's? as well, if a very alrge amp cannot be used for two big 10's, and they are underpowered, how would that compare to a single 12 that is getting more than enough wattage in the correct box?

just a few things i know ill be doing alot of trial and error with, but if someone could shed some light on any of these areas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Well a US Amps 6000 needs a few batteries before you will be able to get a burp off with it....same with a Crown It WILL NOT burp off of one battery. US amps DE3000 maybe.Might want to try a Crossfire VR4000D at half an ohm :D it will burp off of one battery. Zapco's are pretty efficient and so are mmats 3000.1's and they do alotta power...apparantly the mmats 3000.1 draws 285 amps or something but is still very effeicient like the rest of them we'll say 76% to be on the safe side but i'm pretty sure its more than that ;)
a Zapco C2K 9.0XD will do over 3600 watts for a burp
I'll see what else i can think of

thanks brandyn, even though we talked about his. but two 10's at 2500 rms each. wonder if a guy would be better off with a lower powered sub, or maybe just the one 12...

A Visonik 4000xd can burp at one ohm, off one batt.
Would be good for the new street a.
(It was what I was planning on doing)
