Term Lab--- Help Me!!!

Ok so I got a Term lab today from a guy in the states that I bought a few amps off and I cant get it to work on my computer. I followed all the directions through and through and its all installed but when it opens it doesnt move, doesnt let me go to the hardware nothing. We hooked it up to my buddys computer that already had the software on it and boom it worked!!

Can someone help me out here? I have no idea what is going on. Anyone have a problem like this? any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Spencer

I have never used one, but I was reading up on them, apparently the drivers that come with it for your pc as well as the soetware need to be updated if you are using windows xp sp2 or higher.

So, uninstall anything related to to TL and find the updated files (off the TL site im assuming, or even someone on here may have them) and install the meter using them.

Best of luck.

I just spent all day yesterday rigging up mine for the first time. It was a bloody nightmare but is now fully operational.
I can probably help you out if you be a little more specific.
Type of card? PCI or USB
Operating system?
Version of instacal?
Have you tried the Termlab update?
Is your key card light on or flashing?

usb port on your pc might not be compatible.

install the latest software, not the ones that came with the termlab.

Do you know what USB chipset your motherboard has?

If it's a laptop, just let me know the model number... if it's a brand-name desktop then the model number of that would work as well.

If it's a clone or something built at a smaller shop then we'll need to know the model number of the motherboard.
