Termlab issue

I have been doing some reading, and have a question and I hate termpro so here I am:)
I am using a tl that has been doing our testing for the past 2-3 years, I normally used it on my old comp with xp but this morning when I went to test my computer sizzled then toast so I am forced to use my new computer. Here is that problem

New computer is windows 7 64bit so after reading on termpro is sounds like I have to buy some new update in order to use it on my new computer is this true?
If thats true thanks alot and what a joke as ppl spend big dollars on testing equipment to now have to buy new software to make it compatible with the times!!!

nope, im not 100% but im running windows 7 64bit on my laptop and works like a charm. just remember if its a dual core pc to tell the program to only use single core. i think thats what i was told.

couldnt you use compatibility mode in win7 to get it running?
There is also an XP mode to run it in, that should work. Or so i would assume. I have never dealt with it specifically so i couldnt say for sure. I have however gotten some old software to work with win7 that didnt work before, so who knows.
