i am wondering how to determine what my box it tuned for...or if i can even find out...it is a sealed box....if anyone knows the formula for finding this out....pass it my way if ya wouldn't mind...thanks

Well im not exactly sure so correct me if im wrong but i belive that the box has to be ported to be able to tune/find out what its tuned to.

ok ... see i have no idea...so thats why i was asking lol, i am thinking that you may be right about that tho...i had a suspition that it had to be ported but i just wanted to make sure..thanks for the input

Well a sealed box is tuned as well although I know nothing about how to do it, how to find out etc LOL.

lol...hey boolean i was wondering ...how do ya think 2 kicker L7 8" subs would sound wiht my 1500 bd...i am thinking on switching my subs..

BooLeaN 02-21-2005 02:49 PM

Well I have the Kicker L7 10's and they take 1500 to split like champs so I bet those 8's would be fine.

Just not sure if you would get any gains with them from the subs you have now. Are you doing this for daily or for competition?

I know that for my daily stereos I alwasy liked changning for fun, if that is the case with you, do it up ;)

i just don't even know what i want lol like i am seriosu its almost like i was blind towards the car audio world and i have jsut opened my eyes....there is so many options, like i hear about those L7 8's hitting 150 db's and that makes me lean towards those but i have never even heard 8's so i don't know what they sound like ...and my 12's are loud but also boomy ...i jsut don't know...i like both punch and rumble.......i'm lost
