What's Louder - 4-Door Cars or 2-Door Cars?

I'll leave my "Story" out until a few posts come up ... so until then, we have a poll and the question at hand :smilie_da

I voted for 2 door because I have one and it gets loud. LOL

Soundigital Mar 18, 2010 09:58 PM

actually it doesn't matter

one might say, 4 doors have a smaller cabin for SS class, but then you look at the pandas, they have a big door and lots of cars have smaller cabins.

other might say that 4 doors in street is really bad, but then you look at a couple corsas in Brasil hitting 160 in street C...

A 4-door has more dissconnected metal from the chassis to vibrate.

Here's why I ask.

Amplifier and 2 subs in a prefab box ... put it in a 2-Door Car, loud.
Same amp, same subs (literally transferred) and put into a 4-Door Car = LOUDER

It's "Boomier" is the way I would describe it and just sounds like a lot more power ...

Just some crazy coincidence or there's something to it?

Soundigital Mar 18, 2010 10:26 PM

is the same car?
