where to get 8" PVC or ABS pipe?

I am more interested in the ABS (the black stuff) so I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy 8" PVC

home depot. pretty much any hardware store. even crappy tire...

What's also good is if you check out some road construction in your area... I saw what appeared to be 10" or even 12" piping. Was tempted to grab a few scrap pieces to see what I could do with them!

^^^ you are absolutly right. i have 12" stuff that i was able to mount a 12" sub into. this was back like 8 years ago! i had a jbl gti 12 that i used. sounded amazing. go figure?

Going to have a hard time finding plastic pipe over 4" at HD, Rona, or CanTire. Try looking in the YellowPages under Pipe Wholesalers. Some that come to mind: EMCO, Bartle & Gibson, Andrew Sheret. It will likely be blue, green, or white.
