Exclamation

Ok.. here we go, the rules for the XS Cargo Budget Build-Off...

1) All subs and amps must be purchased at your local XS Cargo location. No more than $200 (before taxes) may be spent on the equipment.
*You must be able to prove that you have purchased at the price indicated by showing us a receipt.

2) You may not use any subs/amps that have not been purchased at XS Cargo with this budget. (ie; you can't use your regular competition amps or subs)

3) You may use your regular HU.

4) All vehicle modifications will be based off of the standard dbDrag Street A rules.

5) 1 battery. Must be in the stock location.

6) Box must fit entirely in the rear cargo area.

7) You must be able to provide pictures of your box design. "In progress" pics/threads are highly encouraged

8) SPL score must be measured using the TermLab Sensor system. Stock location on the dash. No "outlaw" style runs. Must be able to provide pics of your winning run.

9) There will be winners in 2 categories. Highest SPL score and best box design. Best box design will be based on votes by other competitors.

10) Sorry but no prizes. We're doing this for the fun of it. If something is up for grabs then some of you "ultra competitive" types may try and cheat. If you can't do this without trying to find loop-holes please save us all the trouble and don't bother competing.
All entries must be submitted to the board no later than April 2nd 2005. This gives everyone just over 2 months to get it made.

I know that there will be some people that feel the rules need to be adjusted. This is NOT the time to start expressing your concerns. If you think you have a really valid rule that needs to be changed please send me a PM. I will make my decision and modify the rules if need be.

Not everyone can be satisfied, but I've done my best.

Please post in the thread if you are participating so we know who's in.

If this thread turns in to a bitch fest about rules or individual opinions your posts will be deleted and the thread will just be locked.

Most importantly please just HAVE FUN. We get enough competition through the regular season lets take it easy on this one.

Got another 140$ to spend!

Err... rule #1...

Use as much power as you can afford in your $200 after purchasing subs

I will be doing it. Haven't had a chance to go out and buy gear yet. There is still plenty of time though!
