Was just curious I think u said u had the same deck as me before but I also know u have an alpine deck so either way u can probably still answer the question or someone else Im sure that knows n has an alpine deck can too.

Did you compete with that deck and if so what were your settings at on the deck for the subwoofer (all of them) Im tryin to tune the deck n im not sure what the settings should be at and what not.

All subwoofer settings should be put to 0 when competing.

You want an unaltered signal going to the amps as much as possible.

Yuli may have a different answer, but I've seen this as being the answer any other time the question has come up.

Jordy Alpine decks are different (stupid) in that they don't put out decent voltage from the sub ou unless it's at + 15.
Having mx on or off, doesn't make any difference for spl.

on the alpine decks, + 15 is actually 0, and 0 is actually -15.

sub all the way up +15. everything else i leave on flat and for spl i turn off low pass filter. in my case it makes no diff if i use MX or not for spl. MX makes it sound better for daily tho.

How do i get to the Preamp feature? Treble for me on any deck is always at 0 (found that out ages ago) MX had one setting does it not?? I knwo theres 3 different sub types is that what u meant? In the manual it mentioned for users with a subwoofer to be on setting 1, but im goin by how you guys have yours tuned. And Bass I do believe i have at 5 or 10 right now cant remember.

Thanks Yuli btw that helped too

Also wanted to know if it shouldbe set to 60hz, 80hz, 100hz or 200hz
