New CDA-117 with KTX-100

I just installed my new HU and Proc, and the fianally got around to installing the Hertz MLK's I bought back in August. Just got everything in, haven't run Imprint yet, so I thought i better look up others experience.
I had the 9887 but had a shop run the imprint. I had to do what you guys mentioned, playing with gains afterwards. This time i want to do it myself, I'd like to experiment, with filters on the amps on or off and the tweeter setings in the hertz crossovers.
We'll see what happenes.
Anyway, with only setting TC and filters manually, The new MLK's sound great, and i haven't even got to the eq yet.
And the 400BT works way better with the new HU than it ever did with the 9887.
I just experienced installing the software and I'm not impressed, my Mcaffee thinks I have a virus. Don't you think alpine could have updated the software somewhere over the last 4 years?

I finally got the imprint software to run. It's slow. I had to get out the battery charger.
Sounds pretty good. Really good at modest volume, but i'm afraid of hurting speakers if I go too loud. It seemed to put way too much bass into my front speakers. Just because they will doesn't mean I want them to play 50 hz. I'd prefer the subs to do the work.
I'll run it again when I get time and the temp comes up above freezing.
I don't have HPF's on the front amps, but i think I can trick it by putting the bass boost on before the imprint and shutting it off after, then I'll up the gain on the sub amps.

Hi Guys

I just found this forum and i really enjoyed your posts . I thought since i'm stock with my Imprint and can't solve my problem maybe you guys could help me . i have a Peugeot 206 and my audio set up is as mentioned below.

Alpine X305S with H100 Imprint
Alpine MRX-F65 amp for my components
Alpine SPX-177R for front doors
Alpine SPX-137R for rear doors
Focal Audio BUS 20 Active Subwoofer

i have the amp filters to off and when i run the auto calibration for driver seat , the sound is not good , the sound stage is good but the cross overs are all wrong . when i turn the volume up the sound distorts . I have set the amp gain to normal .

when i set the cross over manually the sound is very good , but i can not set the equalizer manually and the highs of tweeters really heart my ears .

i have done the calibration many time , but every time i do not get a very good result and the cross overs are all wrong .

i have to mention that before my recent update , i had factory installed JBL components in the doors with no amp . they were connected to the head unit amp and the imprint output was connected to RCA inputs of the head unit ( yes RCA outputs on X305 can act as inputs as well ) . in this way the quality was good ,the cross over was spot on. but the sound was not loud enough for me so i bought the amp and component .

i don't know how to do the perfect calibration with these new components installed and i was hopping you guys could help me with your insight and experiences .

P.S : is it possible that the mic has become faulty because of dust or anything else ?
