Audiophile cables for rca's in my car?
Hi guys,
Infortunatly, the cables were apparently not long enough for a conventional set-up.
So I bought the Stinger Bullet ($90.00 instead of $120.00 for two pairs of 17' long).
One of the terminal of these cables was defective (solder) and the installer fix it up. It could be just bad luck, but the least I can say, it's that I am not really impressed with my purchase for now.
I cannot really comment for SQ because my left speaker (Focal Polyglass 165v) make a rattling noise at midlow frequency (80-90 Hz), so I have to check it up (damaged speaker or bad install) before I could post a definitive opinion on how it's sound.
BTW The audiophile cables are custom Linn cables (the one that comes with their $24000 CD player). I paid $280 for them 5 years ago and they sounded really nice in my home system before I replaced them by balanced cables (Belden).
Thanks for all replies.
Steve
