Audison SRx-3 or LRx 4.300

Which would you pick (for the same price) to power 2 6.5" Focal Polyglass speakers (70W RMS), and 1 10" Exile Sub (300W RMS).

I personally wouldn't pick either. Focal speakers are underrated as it is, and they like their extra juice. With the 4.300 (the more powerful of the two) you're only getting 65W/channel to the fronts and 220W bridged to the sub.

I'd look for something that will give you what the speakers want. Audison makes great amps, so keep looking if you have them in mind. Those components can easily take an amp rated for 100W RMS, and you can probably put a little more to the sub too, especially if it's in a sealed enclosure.

Edit: I'm running 5 1/4" Focal components with a FP 4.75 amp and they sound great. The Focal price point on their amps is not for everybody, though.

Right, but you're also not running your 4.300 in a 3 way bridged setup. It's an awesome amp, don't get me wrong, but for the setup he wants it's the wrong route.

i would do a 4.300 and a 500.2
